10/11/2017 and the 284th day of 2017 is also International Day of the Girl. In my house, every day is the day of the girl, that is what happens when you're the only XY individual in the house. But, it's great, my daughters inspire me every day. I watch their leadership in the classroom, on the athletic field, the stage, the choir room, their community, etc. My girls inspire, my wife inspires, the power of women in leadership inspire. We should celebrate and, dare I say, hope that they are represented more in positions of power. Maybe then the world could return to some normalcy!
