The 286th Day of 2017 was a Friday the 13th in October. Spooky and unlucky, right? Far from it for me on 10/13/17. Spent the day home on PTO, was able to take lunch to my one daughter and pick the other daughter up after school. We also, as a family, went to the first Gym Night of the year where we had over 70 kids in a safe, substance-free space (and we made some parents' evenings easier as well). So my Friday the 13th was far from unlucky. I am inspired to remember how lucky I am, no matter what else is going on and what other stressors exist in my life. Remember also, wanting to be inspired by luckiness is what got me into these daily postings in the first place. So let's all be inspired to notice the good and luck that exists, especially in the face of stress. Lucky also inspires some amazing music, like this Madonna classic.
