On 10/8/2017, since it was Sunday, we started the day at Church. The 281st day of 2017 was also World Communion Sunday. And today's inspiration is not as much for me about the Communion, but it was what Pastor Michael stated as he was inviting us to the table. He stressed the connectedness that we have with our global neighbors. And it made me also think about a friend of the family who is raising money to head to Italy this summer to an international dragon boat festival for thousands of breast cancer survivors from across the world. In these divisive political times, I am even more inspired to remember the connectedness we share with our neighbors all across the globe. Would that those in political power also be inspired to remember the same.
