Although the temperature today felt nothing like a dog day of summer, the 228th day of 2017 is National Dog Day. And, we had a family-focused day at the pool and then a nice dinner out with new friends. And then, on 8/26/17, we brought our new friends home to show off our #1 dog, Skylar. I am inspired by Skylar and her capacity for loving us with all of her heart. It does not matter how long she has been left in the house, she greets us with energy and a lot of tail wagging. Dogs are awesome, loyal, faithful, and true. I am inspired to be more like Skylar. It is also something to note, Be Like Skylar rhymes but #BeLikeTyler. Today would have been Tyler Quinter's 14th birthday and we should ALL be inspired to honor his memory and #BeKind in our daily lives.
