Throughout the whole day on 8/29/17, I have had Houston and the Texas region on my mind. At work, we were mobilizing resources for affected students, on the news, the pictures and videos were scary to see, and, of course, the rain falling from the sky made me think of the rains falling in Texas. On the 231st day of 2017, my inspiration comes from all of the stories of rescue and assistance I have been seeing. These disasters bring out the best in many people. And, I am inspired in my life, to be that kind of person. Even when there are no disasters, but especially when there are. Be Safe, Stay Dry, Prayers for Texas.
