An amazing thing happened on the 219th day of 2017. After 15 months, I finally received all of my boxes and books from my old office. They had been in storage while we figured out where my office would end up. As it stands, on 8/7/17, I have stayed in the same place since I became University Registrar and now, this week, I get to unpack. Tonight Sarah and I unpacked all of my books and we got them on my shelves. I love books, just looking at the titles and the spines brings back memories. Books from my MSEd degree, books from my time at Dining (Retail Management, even!), books from Nursing, books from NASPA, Leadership books, and more. So, today, the inspiration is to actually READ some of these books. Yes, many I have bought with good intentions, but life and other stuff got in the way. So, I am inspired to prove my wife and daughters wrong and read some of these books and re-reading some as well. I know I will enjoy it, and maybe I will inspire others to read too!
